Have you ever written a post that you feel deserves extended exposure? Doing so is easily possible with WordPress’ “sticky” feature. In the admin menu Posts > All Posts just hover over a chosen post and click the “Quick Edit” link and check the Make this post sticky box. Or Click the “Edit” link and from your post’s Publish widget check Stick this post to the front page.
This should “stick” the post to the top of your blog homepage; where it belongs.
You can quickly and easily identify any post that you’ve made sticky – when in Posts > All Posts any sticky posts will now have the word Sticky after the blog post title.
Note: The post’s Publish widget will also display the word Sticky.
