Close all open messages in Outlook

Do you want to be able to close all the message windows in one fell swoop, but leave the main Outlook application running?

In Outlook 2010 click on the View tab and select Close All Items. 

(In earlier versions of Outlook, Close All Items is usually found under the File menu).
