There is a great and pretty handy little ‘Go Back’ shortcut in Word.

Shift+F5
This keystroke will cycle through your last three editing points and the fourth cycle will return you to where you started.
The neatest thing about Shift+F5 is that the last edited position is saved with the document. This means as soon as you open a document, if you use Shift+F5 you’ll jump back to where you were working on it last.
Note: Ctrl-Alt-Z will also Go Back (3 max).
