Sometimes it’s useful to enlarge your window when viewing websites, photos and videos and go full screen by losing the header bars at the top and the taskbar at the bottom (if the taskbar isn’t locked in place).
Open any webpage in a browser, or a photo in Windows Photo Viewer, or open a photo or video clip in Windows Media Player.
Click the F11 key at the top of your keyboard.
To reverse full screen and restore the window to normal view, press the F11 key again in browsers or Esc.
NOTE: Some programs use F11 to maximize the window, some use it for other purposes, and some don’t use it at all. Most popular browsers use it.
